Certified Manufacturers, Retailers, Installers and Mechanics now have the option of taking the required 3-hour Certification Renewal Training Course, required every two years to renew their certifications, online or at one of the scheduled in-person classes. The in-person Certification Renewal Training Courses will continue to be held each year throughout New York State. The online courses can be taken in the privacy of your own home or office at any time.
If you choose to take the online course, you will have 30 days to complete the training. You may start and stop as often as like and then pick up where you left off. Some slides will present questions that you will need to answer by clicking on the appropriate choice.
NYHA Staff must enter your registration information into the online program. After that, you will receive an email with log in instructions. This will only happen during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am until 4:30 pm. After you have completed the course, NYHA Staff will send you an email of completion and will also notify the NYS DOS DBSC.
